| What hobbies and other personal interests do you have? | I love to draw and put my creative thought bubble to the test! I also like learning about topics that interest me and making sure all my friends have a good time in my presence. | ||||||
| Please explain why you are continuing your education. | I've always had a thought in the back of my mind that I was a little brighter about nursing than other people, but I never knew I would be where I am today. I am currently in CNA courses here at the school, and I have been enjoying it so far. Ever since I could remember, I have always loved babies, basically anything about them. I knew in my life, that I didn't just want to be a nurse, I wanted to be a labor and delivery nurse. I wanted to be there when a baby took its first breath into this world, it's one of the best experiences you can experience. | ||||||
| This area can be used to pass along any other information about yourself that you feel might be relevant to this application. | I have already chosen my school of study, with that being Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Whenever I wasn't swooning over babies, I was thinking about the ocean. During my childhood, I only went to the Gulf a couple of times, but would always loved it whenever I went. I knew from the start that I wanted to go somewhere more quiet and not loud, so I did research and found Corpus that met my needs. On top of that, the campus is absolutely beautiful, and no other campus could ever change my mind about that. Besides, I'm sure everyone would love listening to the waves when studying! | ||||||
| Tell us about your dreams or goals for the future. | As said previously, My end goal is to be a labor and delivery nurse, but I also one day want a family of my own. I want my kids to take after me, as far as being in clubs that teach socializing and leadership skills. Rotary was a club that sort of threw me out there, but it was something that I ended up loving. |
